Albany, Albany Co., NY, USA, Houghton, Sheryl E. GUILDERLAND Sheryl E. Houghton, 70, of Guilderland passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. Sheryl was born and raised in Schenectady and was a graduate of Linton High School. She is predeceased by her parents, the late Duane K. Houghton, the late June L. (Graham) Fitch and the late Leighton E. Fitch, Jr. Survivors include her stepbrothers, Carl L. Fitch (Janet) of Glenville and Wayne D. Fitch (Sandy) of Round Lake; also by her niece and nephew, cousins, and extended family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made in Sheryl's memory to Scotia United Methodist Church Capital Campaign, 201 N. Ten Broeck St., Scotia, NY 12302.
