Leslie Lee Houghton Leslie Lee Houghton passed away on April 11, 2013. She was born on March 15th, 1962 in Savannah, Georgia to the proud parents of Col. Richard Blake Houghton and Shari Anne Houghton. Leslie was the youngest of five children and was raised in a home that was never in short supply of love and laughter. Her mother and father served as her two biggest heroes. Taking from them a strong sense of grace, charm, humor, respect and above all: Class. These traits, among others, shown bright in all aspects of her life. From work to leisure, seldom was a warming smile far from the click of her heels. In 1982 Leslie ventured to Austin, TX for work at Healthcare International. She later worked with the Legal group of Dell, serving as the liaison for the Board of Directors for almost 20 years. Finally, she arrived at National Instruments where she was part of the product marketing team. She will be remembered for her friendly, vivacious, and encouraging personality as well as her strong sense of professionalism. Leslie was a wonderful friend and mother and her life will be celebrated for years to come. Leslie is survived by her husband, James Scott Nelson, her son Blake Cole, and her daughters, Katherine Hart, Alyssa Nelson, and Bradli Nelson and her siblings Lin Mueller, Lindsay Houghton, Richard Houghton, and Daniel Houghton. May she be received with open arms into the house of The Lord!

Ranald Chambers Jr., son of Mrs. Hilary Ranald Chambers of this city, and the late Mr. Chambers, yesterday in the Dutch Reforned Church, Seventh Street and Second Avenue. Only members of the two families were present at the ceremony performed by the Rev. Ernest R. Palen, the pastor. Miss Esther Houghton was her sister's only attendant, and Alfred Fraser was best man. A small reception followed at the Hotel White.
Mr. and Mrs. Chambers, after a motor trip, will live in New York. The bride, a granddaughter of Carlos Fritot of Normandie, France is the former wife of Victorino A. Vina Y Martorell of Cuba, and after they were divorced in February she resumed her maiden name. The bride is a granddaughter of George Washington Houghton of Maine.
Mr. Chambers is a grandson of the late Rev. Dr. Talbot Wilson Chambers and of the Rev. Charles Miller Jameson, both prominently associated witht the Collegiate Reformed Dutch Church in New York.¹
