LINCOLN (PNS)—Harry J. Houghton, 68, Lincoln, died at 6:20 p.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital. Springfield.
Hia funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke Funeral Home, with the Rev Warren Freiheit officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was bom Dec. 3, 1909, In Petersburg, a son of Leslie and Agnes Campbelf Houghton He married Elsie Miller on Feb. 25. 1937, in Petersburg She survives.
Also surviving are his stepmother, Marie Cellini. Lincoln; a daughter, Betty McBryant, Lincoln; a son, William, Lincoln; a stepsister, Mary Walters. Lincoln; a stepbrother, David Houghton. Shiocton, Wis; and four grandchildren.
He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Heart Association.

ALBANY Evelyn K. Houghton, 79, died Monday, July 24, 2006 at her residence. She was born in New York City, the daughter of the late Diedrich and Anna Seedorf. She had resided in the Albany area since 1946, where she was a graduate of the College of St. Rose. Evelyn was employed by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice in Albany for about 20 years. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Houghton and is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Schafer of Slingerlands and Marge (Rick) Sweitzer of Augusta, Ga; five grandchildren, Stephen (Stephanie) Schafer, Robert (Barbara) Schafer, Amanda Schafer and her fiance Brian Smith, Scott Peehl and Kirsten (Joshua) Yuhas; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Seedorf. Funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery.1
