I am looking for a connection between James, Robert, and Thomas Houghton. They were all born in Pennsylvania. I have a postcard from Robert Houghton addressed to James Houghton. The postcard features bag inspection on a US Navy ship. The message is as follows:

Well Pop, This is some of the stuff that Thomas has to go through. Your Son, Robert.

I know that Thomas is my great grandfather and did serve in the Navy. He was born in 1899. I however, cannot find any information linking him to Robert or James Houghton. If anyone could help, much appreciated.
