My grandfather, Bernard, was given a small house in Weld, Maine by his uncle James Bernard (5900). I now own the house. The house was built around 1920 and is where James Bernard lived for many years. His ancestor, James Houghton, Jr. (4049) was one of the first settlers of the town of Weld in the late 1700’s.¹
