Mrs. Eathel Eulalia Curl, 66 years old, of Wolf Creek died Sept. 1, 1972 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.
She was born February 6, 1906, a daughter of the late Matthew Houghton and Sarah Agnes Ash Houghton.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Ben Frank Curl, Sr; 4 daughters Mrs Doyle (Jenny) Ross, Irvington, Ky., Mrs.Charles (Hazel)Chism, Elizabethtown, Ky., Mrs Marvin (Peggy) King, Payneville, Ky, Mrs Fred (Jean) Clark, Hudson, Ky. 5 sons, Ben Frank Curl, Jr., Kenny Curl, William Curl, all of Battletown, Ky., Glen Curl, Payneville, Ky., Hubert Curl, RR1 Vine Grove, Ky. 2 sisters, Mrs Leora Rodgers, Jeffersonville, Indiana, Mrs Bethel Scott, Louisville, Ky. One brother, Mr. Hubert Houghton, Louisville, Ky; 31 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 3:30 pm Sunday, Sept. 3, 1972 from Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Harmon Popham and Rev. Ken Hemphill officiating. Interment was in Parr Cemetery directed by Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were, Jackie Gleason, Sonny Jantzen, Bobby Harrell, Wilfred Willett, Lamar Smith, Bill Bennett.
