That Uriah is the son of Henry (ca 1774-1852) and Abigail (ca 1789-aft 1853) Avery is supported by evidence but is not proven. See Note under father Henry Avery.

- 1 male under 5 - may be son Elisha age 4
- 1 male 5-9 - may be son Seth age 6
- 1 male 40-49 - MIGHT be Uriah himsel but age appears to be higher than expected (33)
- 1 female under 5 - may be dau Lydia age 1
- 1 female 5-9 - may be dau Ann age 9
- 1 female 10-14 - unknown female may have married or died before 1850 census
- 1 female 40-49 - MIGHT be wife Mariah but age appears higher than expected (28)

Sep 1850: res. Pound Ridge, Westchester Co., NY with wife Mariah and 8 children ages 6mo. to 19 yrs. 1379

Sep 1860: res. Lewisboro, Westchester Co., NY, with wife Maria and 5 or 6 children ages 12 to 28. Note - One male named William(?) age 16 did not appear in 1850 census, so it is not clear if he is one of their children or not. 1383
