• pp 355-356, relating to people who arrived in Philadelphia 20 Oct 1744 aboard the “Phoenix” (originally from Rotterdam but last from Cowes), commanded by Capt. William Wilson - Anndon Schneider (also appears as Anton Schneider). Also appearing on same list were Casper Schneider, Johannes Schneider and Paul Schneider.

• From Burial Book of Moravian Church: p. 396 - “1774, 23rd April, Anton Schneider born in 1725 in Plassig, Canutznach in Pfaltz and reared in the Lutheran religion. In 1750, he married widow Kreamer and had 5 children, lived 48 years and 5 months.”
UPDATE - This Anton Schneider is frequently found on the internet as living in Lancaster Co., PA with 5 or 6 children. He is briefly mentioned in one source as migrating from Palatinate to Lancaster in 1744. So he MIGHT be the Anton/Anndon Scneider listed as arriving on 20 Oct 1744 aboard the “Phoenix”. See source:
