Arthur reportedly (told by Phyllis, his niece) robbed a business or bank in California and before being caught - put the loot (money and/or jewelry) in a safety deposit box there. He wrote his daughter to keep paying the deposit fees. He was caught and put in prison. His daughter later went to the bank and opened the box and found the loot. It is believed that she kept it (no confirmation). 939
