Newspaper Death Notice: Title: Mrs. Will Knox Dies At Home Last Week
939Mrs. Nancy Knox, wife of Will Knox, passed away at her home on North Wilder Street on Wednesday of last week, Nov. 21st. She had suffered a heart attack which brought on her death. She was a native of Meigs County but had lived in Rockwood for many years. She was 61 years of age and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Services were conducted from the chapel of the Booth Funeral Home on Friday afternoon, Nov. 23, at 1:30 P.M. The Rev. C. F. Smith and Rev. C. S. Cassidy officiated with burial being made in the Oddfellow Cemetery. Booth Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Knox is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Carl Spurling, Mrs. Carl Kirby and Mrs. Albert Nealon, all of Rockwood; three sons, Frank and Arthur Knox, of Rockwood, and Carl Knox, of the U.S. Army; four brothers, Sam True, of Rockwood, Tom True, of Monroe, Tenn., McKinley True of Elyria, Ohio, and Ernest True, of Cleveland, Tenn., three sisters, Mrs. Henry Carmichael of Cookeville, Mrs. Cora Lewis of Elyria, Ohio, and Mrs. James Cox of Greengold, Florida.
