Bev's husband to be, Dave Smith used to pop over at the weekend to see his girlfriend ( Bev ), and we got to know each other quite well. He eventually asked me to be his best man and so it was that I met my wife, firstly at the wedding and secondly when we were both godparents to Dave and Bev's twin boys.
