NoteI am not totally confident that this James Snelson had any children at all. He is certainly part of William Snelson's family as he is noted as being "of Gwersyllt" rather than "of Burton Green" or anywhere else. The problem is that we have so little information on the wives and mothers and with the christian names being so repetitive, it's very hard to be precise.

His father William Snellson died after 1707.
His son James Snellson was born in December 1736 in Gresford.
