     Emerson Edward Vaubel was born on 17 Dec 1911 in Pearl City, Illinois.9,10,11 He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Bonfield, Kankakee Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, Rev. Edward George Vaubel and Catherine Angelia Glabe.5 He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Ottawa, LaSalle Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.6
     Emerson married Isabelle Helen Stewart, daughter of John Alexander Stewart and Helen Mary Henry, on 18 Nov 1935 in Cook Co., Illinois.12,13,14
     Emerson and Isabelle appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Freeport, Stephenson Co., Illinois, at 116½ N. Grove St, enumerated 19 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $35 per month., as was Savina Miller, a domestic, listed as a lodger.15
     He was a tax accountant for a battery company. In the 1940 census he reported he had worked 40 hours the last week of March, and had worked 52 weeks the previous year, earning $1,500.15
     Emerson was living in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, when his mother died in 1964.7
     Emerson died on 12 Oct 1992 in Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 80.2
