He did not sell his farm in Pawlet until 1805, appearing in the Orwell census in 1810, so it seems most likely that all his children were born in Pawlet.

  11. Peck, William F., Semi-Centennial History of the City of Rochester, pg 383, shows he died in the summer of 1821. This seems to be in error, since a contemporary obituary shows his death in 1826, and pg 439 shows that William was involved in a land transaction on 27 Oct 1822.
