Dishon (Gen 36:25) was the son of Anah (Gen 36:20,25; 1 Chron 1:38,41).2
Several names in Genesis 36 seem to be duplicated. Verse 20-21 lists as the Sons of Seir the Horite the names Zebeon, Anah, and Dishon. Verse 24 list another Anah as the son of Zebeon. Verse 25 list as childern of Anah (presumably the son of Seir, not Zebeon): Dishon and Oholibamah. Verse 2 also mentioned that Anah, the son of Zebeon had a daughter Oholibamah, who married Esau. Thus is appear that we have 2 Anah's (1: son of Seir, and 2: son of Zebeon the son of Seir), 2 Dishon's (1: son of Seir, 2: son of Anah the son of Seir) and 2 Oholibamah's (1: daughter of Anah, the son of Zebeon, and 2: daughter of Anah, the son of Seir). That there were two seperate Oholibamah is supported by the specific mention that Esau's wife Oholibamah was the Granddaughter of Zibeon, apperently in an attempt to clearify which one is being mentioned.3
