Philippa (of Luxemberg) was born about 1252 of Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Luxembourg.² She was the daughter of Count Henry III "the Blond" (of Luxemburg) and Mathilde de Bar-le-Duc.^1,2 Philippa (of Luxemberg) married Count Jean II d'Avesnes, son of Seigneur Jean I d'Avesnes and Adelaide (Alhildis) (of Holland), in 1270.¹ Philippa (of Luxemberg) died on 6 April 1311 in Valenciennes, Nord, France.²
