George Wood was born about 1802.1 He married Elizabeth K. about 1853 in Peru.1 George Wood died on 18 March 1865.1
He and George S. Wood, son of Samuel Wood and Mary U. Searing, were possibly the same person based on matching death dates (or George S.'s death date is incorrect). Counter to this assignment is that wives name are somewhat different and George S was disowned in 1837 (so much later death might not have been recorded.) George Wood met for worship at at New Bedford Monthy Meeting.1 He had a certificate from at New Bedford Monthy Meeting in 1848.1 He met for worship at at New York Monthy Meeting in 1848.1 He had a certificate of clear to at Peru Monthly Meeting, Peru, on 2 March 1853.1 He met for worship at at Peru Monthly Meeting, Peru, from 1853 to 1854.1 He and Elizabeth K. with Elizabeth K. had a certificate from at Peru Monthly Meeting, Peru, on 23 March 1854.1 George Wood became the father of Henry T. Wood on 22 August 1854.1 George Wood became the father of William K. Wood on 17 September 1855.1 George Wood became a widower with the death of his wife, Elizabeth K. on 24 September 1855.1
