Nicholas Hoit was born in 1602. He married Elizabeth Short on 12 June 1658?; Date seems unusual. It is the same year their daughter gets married and after the possible death date of Elizabeth Short.1 Nicholas Hoit died on 30 January 1684/85.
He became the father of Elizabeth Hoit in 1636.1 Nicholas Hoit became a widower with the death of his wife, Elizabeth Short on 9 November 1656?; Placement of death date on chart is unusual. I am assuming it belongs to Elizabeth Short as it does not make sense at all for anyone else. This date of death is before listed date of marriage, but that date seems late.1 Nicholas's daughter was married at wedding of Elizabeth Hoit and Ralph Farnum in 1658 in Massachusetts
