John Coggan was baptized on 5 January 1590/91 in Tiverton, Devon, England.1 He married Martha Rainsborough, daughter of William Rainsborough, on 10 March 1651/52 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1 John Coggan died on 27 April 1658 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 67 survived by Martha Rainsborough.2
