David Alden was born in 1646 in Duxbury, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.1 He was born between 1645 and 1650 in Duxbury, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.4 He was the son of Hon. John Alden and Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins.4 David Alden married Mary Southworth, daughter of Ensign Constant Southworth and Elizabeth Collier, before 1670 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.2,4 David Alden died before 20 May 1719 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2
He became the father of Ruth Alden about 1674.5 David Alden became the father of Elizabeth Alden about 1677.5,2 David Alden became the father of Priscilla Alden in 1679.2,5 David Alden became the father of Benjamin Alden between 1680 and 1684. David Alden became the father of Alice Alden about 1685.5 David Alden became the father of Capt Samuel Alden about 1689.2 Alicia Crane Williams shows that their is no evidence to connect Henry Alden to the line of John Alden of the Mayflower, and evidence that he is not.6
