Susannah Lewis was born on 25 March 1761 in Poughkeepsie, New York
.1 She was the daughter of Richard Lewis and Susanna Vanderburgh.1 Susannah Lewis married Gilbert James Livingston, son of James Livingston and Judith Newcomb, on 28 February 1779 in Troy, New York.1 Susannah Lewis died on 27 July 1822 in Saratoga, New York, at age 61.1
She became the mother of Judith Livingston on 4 September 1785.1 Susannah's daughter was married at wedding of Judith Livingston and Samuel Herrick Butler on 26 June 1806 in Waterford, New York.1
