     Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine), son of Count Palatine Wolfgang Wilhelm (of Neuburg) and Princess Magdalene (of Bavaria), was born on 4 October 1615 in Schwaben, Bavaria.1 Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) was the son of Count Palatine Wolfgang Wilhelm (of Neuburg) and Princess Magdalene (of Bavaria).1 Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) married Princess Elisabeth Amalie (of Hesse-Darmstadt), daughter of Landgrave Georg II (of Hesse-Darmstadt) and Princess Sofie Eleonore (of Saxony), on 3 September 1653 in Langenschwalbach, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.1 Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) died on 12 September 1690 in Wien, Wien, Austria, at age 74.1 He was buried in Schwaben, Bavaria.1
