Count Heinrich Wilhelm I (of Solms-Sonnenwalde) was born on 21 March 1583 in Laubach, Oberhessen, Hesse-Darmstadt.1 He was the son of Count Johann Georg I (of Solms-Laubach) and Margarethe von Schonburg.1 Count Heinrich Wilhelm I (of Solms-Sonnenwalde) married Countess Sofie Dorothea (of Mansfeld-Arnstein) on 5 October 1612 in Mittelfranken, Bavaria.1 Count Heinrich Wilhelm I (of Solms-Sonnenwalde) died on 21 March 1632 in Unterfranken, Bavaria, at age 49.1 He was buried in Mittelfranken, Bavaria.1
