Princess Eleonore Dorothea (of Anhalt-Dessau)

Princess Eleonore Dorothea (of Anhalt-Dessau) was born on 6 February 1602 in Dessau, Anhalt, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Prince Johann Georg I (of Anhalt-Dessau) and Countess Dorothea (of Simmern).¹ Princess Eleonore Dorothea (of Anhalt-Dessau) married Duke Wilhelm 'The Great' (of Saxe-Weimar), son of Duke Johann (of Saxe-Weimar) and Princess Dorothea Marie (of Anhalt-Zerbst), on 23 May 1625 in Weimar, Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, Thuringia.¹ Princess Eleonore Dorothea (of Anhalt-Dessau) died on 26 December 1664 in Weimar, Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Thuringia, at age 62.¹ She was buried in Friedhof, Weimar, Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Thuringia.¹
