Count Palatine Johann Kasimir (of Zweibrücken Kleeburg) was born on 20 April 1589 in Pfalz, Bavaria.¹ He was the son of Count Palatine Johann I (of Zweibrücken) and Princess Magdalene (of Julich Kleve Berg).¹ Count Palatine Johann Kasimir (of Zweibrücken Kleeburg) married Princess Catharina Karlsdotter (Vasa) (of Sweden), daughter of King Karl IX Gustafsson (Vasa) (of Sweden) and Princess Marie (of Palatine), on 24 October 1615 in Kungliga Slottet, Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden.¹ Count Palatine Johann Kasimir (of Zweibrücken Kleeburg) died on 8 June 1652 in Stegeborg Slott, Ostra Ny, Ostrgt, Sweden, at age 63.¹ He was buried on 5 September 1652 in Strangnas Dom Kyrka, Strangnas, Sdrmnl, Sweden.¹
