     James Stewart, son of King James IV (of Scotland) and Janet (Jane) Kennedy, was born circa 1500 in Morayshire, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 James Stewart was the son of King James IV (of Scotland) and Janet (Jane) Kennedy.1 James Stewart married Elizabeth Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell and Janet (Jane) (Jean) Gordon, on 24 August 1529 in Scotland.1 James Stewart died on 12 June 1544 in Darnaway, Dyke, Morayshire, Scotland.1 He was buried.1
     James's father King James IV (of Scotland) died on 9 September 1513 at the Battle Of Flodden, Branxton, Northumberland, England.1 James Stewart became the father of Mary Stewart circa 1531.1
