Alexandre Fedorovna

Alexandre Fedorovna was born on 6 June 1872 in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Grand Duke Louis (of Hesse) and Princess Alice Maud Mary (of Saxe-Coburg).¹ Alexandre Fedorovna married Nikolas II Romanov, son of Alexander III Alexandrovich (of Russia) and Czarina Mariya (Dagmar) (of Russia), on 26 November 1894 at the Winter Palace, St. Petersburg, Russia.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna died on 16 July 1918 in Ekaterinburg, Russia, at age 46.¹
Alexandre's mother Princess Alice Maud Mary (of Saxe-Coburg) died on 14 December 1878 in Darmstadt, Germany.^1,2 Alexandre's father Grand Duke Louis (of Hesse) died on 13 March 1892.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna became the mother of Olga Nicholovna Romanov in November 1895.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna became the mother of Tatiana Nicholovna Romanov in June 1897.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna became the mother of Maria Nicholovna Romanov in May 1899.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna became the mother of Anastasia Nicholovna Romanov in June 1901.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna became the mother of Alexis Nicolaievich Romanov on 12 August 1904.¹ Alexandre Fedorovna became a widow with the death of her husband, Nikolas II Romanov on 16 July 1918 in Ekaterinburg, Russia, Russia, at age 50.¹
