Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire) was born on 1 October 1685 in Wien, Wien, Austria.¹ He was the son of Emperor Leopold I (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Eleonore (of Palatine).¹ Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire) married Princess Elisabeth Christine (of Brunswick Wolfenbüttel), daughter of Duke Ludwig Rudolf (of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel) and Princess Christine Luise (of Öttingen), on 1 August 1708 in Matarbo, Barcelona, Spain.¹ Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire) died on 20 October 1740 in Wien, Wien, Austria, at age 55.¹ He was buried in Kapuziener Kirche, Wien, Wien, Austria.¹
