Shannon, as executrix of the estate of Johanna L. Pennifill, against N. J. Hoffman and Marguerite Pennifill Hoffman, for payment of a note for $6355.01, at 5% interest, given to the Hoffmans by the deceased on 29 December 1943. The Circuit Court had ruled in favor of the plaintiff Mena P. Shannon, and that decision was upheld in the appeal.
