Myers, daughter of Warren Myers and Blanch Cabana, born 19 October 1902, and died 26 January 1998 in King Co., Washington. She married first Clifton Edward Ott on 30 October 1920 in Spokane, Washington, and later Chris Fernandez on 26 March 1943 in Seattle, Washington, and Paul Cabana Rattenne on 6 July 1945 in Kitsap Co., Washington.

He and his wife Helen are listed at 3850 Amundson Ave. in Bronx Co., New York, in the 1950 census, in the main part of the house. Another family was living upstairs, and Eugene's parents were living downstairs.5

No marriage record has been found online for Helen DeWitt and Vincent Scafidi, but other records support it. The 1997 obituary for Helen's brother Oscar names a surviving sister Helen Scifida.3 And records from the Burlingham/Phelps Reunion list a Helen Scafidi as attending the reunion in August 1994.7 Further, in the Ancestry database U.S. Public Records Index, 1950-1993, Volume 1, there are entries for Helen M. Cerbone (in 1993), Helen M. Scafidi (1993), and Vincent B. Scafidi (1991) at 39 Highview Ave. in Wurtsboro, New York; for Helen M. Scafidi (1985,1994) and Vincent B. Scafidi at 353 Star Rt. in Wurtsboro, New York; and for Helen M. Scafidi at 1944 81st St. in Brooklyn, New York.1 And in the database U.S. Public Records Index, 1950-1993, Volume 2, Vincent B. Scafidi is also listed at 1944 81st St. in Brooklyn, New York.2
He served as a master sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, enlisting on 15 November 1940, and was discharged on 4 August 1945.8,6
