She and her husband Edwin were living in Huron Heights, Oakland Co., Michigan, in 1940.1 They later moved to Waterford, Oakland Co., Michigan, where they were residing at the time of their deaths.5,6

He was a doctor, graduating from St. Louis University Medical School in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri.1 He served as class vice president from 1938 to 1940, was in the ROTC program, and upon graduation was commissioned as a first lieutenant.6
He and his wife Catherine may have lived apart for a time while he was in the service. She was living with her parents in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., Indiana, when their first child Mary was born and died the same day in 1942, while his residence was listed as St. Louis.7 On 30 August 1942 Catherine left Evansville to join Thomas in Chicago, and from there they were to travel to Camp Adair in Benton Co., Oregon, where he was to be stationed in the medical corps.8 They were both back in Evansville living with Catherine's parents when their daughter Elizabeth was born in April 19449, and then back in St. Louis, where their children Patricia and Thomas were born in 1946 and 1948.10,11 They later moved to Denison, Grayson Co., Texas, where they lived from at least 1951 to 1957.12
