     The engagement of Mabel Kathleen Jull and David Airth Jamieson was announced by Walter Jull and Mrs Walter Jull on 20 August 1929 in the newspaper the, Calgary Herald, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jull announce the engagement of their daughter, Mabel Kathleen, to David Airth Jamieson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jamieson of Renfrew, Ontario, the marriage to take place the middle of September.4
     In the obituary of David Airth Jamieson who died 5 June 1941, his wife, Mabel K Jamieson was listed as a survivor.3

Mabel Kathleen Jamieson (nee Jull) passed away at the Bethany Care Centre, Cochrane, Alberta, on January 29, 2001 at the age of 98 years. Mabel was born in Rosser, Manitoba on December 24, 1902 to Walter and Mary Jull. She lived in Winnipeg, Victoria and Calgary. She married David Airth Jamieson in 1929 who predeceased her in 1941. Mabel was also predeceased by a son Michael Airth Jamieson in 1993. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Diana and Pat, and her son Phillip and their families as well as Michael's family. A Celebration of Mabel's life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the caregivers from the Bethany for the wonderful care they gave Mabel.
