After her death her husband Daniel moved to the Connecticut Valley; He had been in Deerfield in 1673; settled there on lot 23, but went back to Medford during the Indian Wars. He was called "Mr." and may have been a ruling elder before the advent of Mr. Mather.

Eperience Hinsdale died on 17 May 1676 in Bernardstown, Franklin County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, at age 31. Experience was one of two guides who were with the Turner Falls retribution expedition on May 19, 1676. This was after the Indians burned most of Springfield, following the attack at Bloody Brook where Indians killed his father and his brothers Samuel, John and Barnabus. Experience lost his life in the counter-attack by Indians on the way back to Hadley. The place was later settled by survivors of the fight, and called Turner's Falls, much later changed to Bernardston.
Experience Hinsdale was born at Dedham, Massachusetts Bay Colony, January 23, 1646. [1] (Alt. birth January 23, 1645.) [2] He was baptized February 8, 1646. [1] (Alt. baptism February 8, 1645.)[3]
Experience married Mary Hawkes, daughter of John Hawkes, October 10, 1672,[1]at Hadley, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[4] Children of Experience and Mary were Elizabeth Hinsdale who married John Cornwell and (Girl) Hinsdale. [1][5]
Experience Hinsdale was not with his three brothers, Samuel (who left six children), John and Barnabus, and their father Robert, when they drove the corn harvest the 18 miles to Hadley, guarded by about forty-five soldiers. They were attacked by hundreds of Indians, on September 18, 1675. At least seventy men were killed, to be buried in a mass grave the next day by the soldiers, for the small town of Deerfield, all bereaved and in shock. The place they died, previously known as Muddy Brook, has since been called Bloody Brook.[6]
Anne Woodward had died in 1666, and Robert married Elizabeth Hawkes, the widow of John Hawkes. Experience married Mary Hawkes, the daughter of John Hawkes (deceased) and Elizabeth Hawkes (Robert Hinsdale's second wife), on October 10, 1672. When his father and three brothers were killed, Experience and his youngest brother Ephraim were the last men of the family, with their brother-in-law James Rising.

Benjamin Bartlett, Jr., left a will dated 10 December 1717. He gave his wife
Ruth all his real estate while she was alive. She was to pay his three youngest daughters £30 at their marriages, the same amount he gave to the previously married daughters. When
Ruth died the estate was to be divided equally between his daughters: Sarah Bradford, Rebeckah Bradford, Ruth Murdoch, Mercy Turner, Priscilla, Deborah and Abigail, and granddaughter Ruth Bartlett, daughter of his son William, deceased, as long as she doesn't sue for the farm at Duxbury "I now live upon". If she sues for said farm, she was to receive one shilling.
Ruth, his wife, was named executrix. The will was proved 6 July 1724. His inventory was taken 15 April 1724 and wife Ruth swore to its correctness 25 April 1724.
