Alexander Colville II was baptized on 2 October 1665 in Kincardine, Scotland.1 He married Christian Thompson on 13 July 1692 in Edinburgh, Scotland.1 Alexander died on 1 December 1719, in Dromore, County Down, Ireland, at age 54. He died suddenly in the pulpit while preaching a sermon.1


Alexander Colville II left a will dated 15 August 1738.


In "Bradner Genealogy" is quoted a part of the testament of Rev. Alexander Colville (recorded 15 Aug 1738), mentioning both his son Dr. Alexander Colville and his daughter "Christian Colville, alias Bradner, and Mr. John Bradner." According to the testament, Rev. Alexander considered his daughter to be deceased since she had married Rev. John Bradner against his wishes - she was in effect disinherited.
