Gearldine "Gean" Dykins, 91, Crystal, Minn., died of natural causes at her home on Sept. 13, 2012.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Fri., Sept. 21, at St. Joseph's Parish Center in New Hope, Minn. Entombment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum there.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Gearty Delmore Funeral Chapel in Robbinsdale, Minn.

Gean Pauley was born on March 24, 1921, on the family farm at Ramona to Leo and Paulina Pauley. She married Frank Dykins in 1943 while he was an officer in the Navy. She worked as an insurance manager for many years.

Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Charles (Elaire) and Keith Dykins; a sister-in-law, Joyce Nelson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a daughter, Debra; a sister, Mary; and two brothers, Joseph and James Pauley.

Memorials are preferred to a charity of choice.

Dykins, Gearldine "Gean" (Pauley), age 91 of Crystal, MN died of natural causes at her home on Sept. 13, 2012. All who knew Gean were impressed by her sharp mind, independence, thoughtfulness and generosity. She will be dearly missed. Gean was born on her family farm in Ramona, SD to Leo and Paulina Pauley on March 24, 1921. She married Frank Dykins, in 1943 while he was an officer in the Navy. They had 60 wonderful years together. Gean was a loving mother to daughter Debra who was born in 1954. Gean worked as an insurance manager for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter, Debra; sister, Mary; brothers, Joseph and James Pauley. Gean is survived by brothers-in-law, Charles Dykins (Elaire), Keith Dykins; sister-in-law, Joyce Nelson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday at St. Joseph's Parish Center, 8701 36th Ave. N., New Hope. Visitation Thursday 5-7 PM with 6 PM prayer & memory sharing at Gearty- Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway. Visitation also 1/2 hr prior to Mass Friday at the parish Center. Dykins, Elaire Ann (Janett) Age 88, of Bloomington, died peace-fully July 18, 2015. Surviv-ed by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles; twin sister, Elaine Janett; brother, Ray Janett and her beloved family; four daughters: Lee (John) Thomas, Sue (Scott) Augustine, Sandy (Warren) Loken and Judy (Steve) Klopp; ten grandchildren: Ian (Allison) and Elliot Thomas, Ryan (Kamie), Brent (Molly) and Garrett Augustine, Marissa (Liam) Girard, Chase Loken, Dylan, Tyler and Ryder Klopp; five great grandchildren: Reese, Paige, Maddie, Carter Augustine and Clara Thomas. Elaire grew up on a farm near Ramona, South Dakota and moved to Mpls to work after receiving her RN degree. She married Charles and settled in Bloomington for nearly sixty years, where they raised four daughters. She had a lasting impact on all who knew her. Our memories will be of the countless ways she could make you feel special and loved, whether it was family, friends or a stranger she just met. She was so 'full of life' and she could turn any ordinary moment into a cause for celebration. Her beautiful smile, quick laughter and great sense of humor would light up any room and people of all ages were naturally drawn to her. Her strong faith and deeply held positive attitude radiated from within her, constantly inspiring others. She united her family always, with her intensely empathetic nature and great sense of fun. She encouraged the good in all of us and she encouraged us to live by the golden rule, be kind, love life, and laugh often. For this and much more we are humbly grateful. She will be dearly missed. BEACH Marjorie Ann Dykins, 75, Beach, died July 29, 2006, at Medcenter One, Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. MDT Wednesday, Aug. 2, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Beach, with the Rev. Shannon Lucht officiating.

A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the church.

Margie Ann Niece was born July 6, 1931, in Beach, a daughter of Dr. O.R. and Mary (Miller) Niece. Margie was raised in Beach and graduated from Beach High School with the class of 1949. After graduation, Margie attended college at Carrol College in Helena, Mont., and St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in Billings, Mont., where she received her nursing diploma.

Margie married Keith Dykins at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Beach on Feb. 17, 1953.

Margie worked with Dr. Bush at Johnston Memorial Hospital. While raising her family, she returned there to work when it became a nursing home. She worked at the Golden Valley Community Hospital, and the Wibaux County Nursing Home for many years before retiring.

Margie loved to garden and was known for the dozens of petunias that were planted in front of her home every year. She loved to play dominoes, card games and enjoyed family vacations. She was a former president of PEO, St. Anne's Guild Society and the Garden Club and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Keith, of the family home; two sons, Jim Dykins and his wife, Vicki, and Jack Dykins and his wife, Leigh, all of Beach; and one daughter, Joan Stringer and her husband, Jack, Loveland, Colo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Madge Niece.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Niece; and one brother-in-law and sister, Don and Mary Helen Marman.
