The Factory of Fort Marlborough, and all the English Possessions on the Island of Sumatra, are hereby ceded to His Netherland Majesty: and His Britannick Majestry further engages that no Britisch Settlement shall be formed on the Island, nor any Treaty concluded by British Authority, with any Native Prince, Chief, or State therein.

He was born on March 21, 1873 in Singapore. I was told by my mother that he had many wives, and many children. He was also married to my grandmother, her name was Lily Wilhelmina De'Souza born June 24, 1889. My mother was also born in Singapore. I am pretty sure I have some pics and maybe more info.
