Lichthart, Leendert, geboren 17 maart 1886 Padang Sidempoea, zuidelijk van Sibolga. Hij overleed 27 aug 1945. Zoon van de Javaanse Mina en Pieter Lichthart (1842 Oosterhout – 1923 Padang). Pieter, ca 1872 in Indie komend, was opzichter van de waterstaat ( Burgerlijke Openbare Werken) tot 1893 en werd daarna aannemer te Padang (genaamd civiel bouwkundige). Leendert werkte in 1906 - 1914 te Padang als hoefsmid en reparateur van metalen huishoudvoorwerpen. Vanaf 1915 tot ca 1934 was hij opzichter van de Waterstaat (BOW). Leendert huwde maart 1909 met Cornelia Augustina van Möschel (1886 Padang – 1909 Padang), dochter van Carl Frederik van Möschel (1851 Padang – ) en Eliza Margaretha Theuvenet (1858 Padang - 1941 Padang). Een neefje van Leendert was met vrouw en 1 kind in kamp Bangkinang en diens oudste dochter overleed in het kamp missiecomplex te Padang. Cornelia's zus Christina Brouwer von Gonzenbach – van Möschel en nicht Johanna Bijarelle stierven in het kamp Bangkinang.
