On one occasion Isaac and a friend drove horses to Baltimore where there was a demand for horses. After the sale was made, the “friend” murdered Isaac and disappeared with the money. Isaac’s son heard that the “friend” was in the army, so he enlisted and was successful in locating the “friend” whom he promptly shot, then he deserted and was never again heard from. These events took place after the death of Iddo Hanson.186
